Very friendly staff, Extremely accommodating. Lovely dogs to play with at the bar, very children friendly. Location. Excellent for going to get married at Gretna Green.

Went for meal last night as we are on holiday at Gretna. Wow what an amazing meal. The chef knows how to serve a fantastic meal. Hibters chicken and hubby had Balmoral chicken with haggis. Thank you we will be back before we go.home.
We only had a meal there. It's been closed for a while( at least a year and through the pandemic) so, as we drove past it on the 28th of August 2023, we noticed it was open again. So we went in and ordered 4 meals. It didn't disappoint us. We had the 10oz gammon. It was served piping hot with homemade skin on chips, a whole fried large tomato, peas and coleslaw. Beautiful meal which was larger than most places, also had puddings. They were to die for. Very friendly staff, will definitely make this our go to restaurant when we are next in Gretna.
Stayed here on 19th Aug for the wedding of my brother in law and his new wife Shelly. We received a warm welcome on arrival, and shown to our rooms, staff very friendly & helpful, we knew the bosses had a very busy week before we arrived. Meals were lovely comps to the chef. They supplied live entertainment for us in the evening, which was amazing. Full breakfast in the morning to set us up for the day. Thanks you all for a wonderful weekend and time.
