Really good little club on Main Street in hawes. Probably cheapest in town too. No cask on but nice pint of John smiths. Shows the sports, has a pool table and dart board. Might have some Dominoes behind the bar too. Cash only. Open from 1900 mon to Fri and open all day over the weekend. Recommended 🍻 ⚽️ 🏉 🏏 🐎 🎯 🎱
Gorgeous little village with quaint shops. Friendly and welcoming. Little market on Tuesday. Lots of pubs and places to eat. Beautiful waterfall as well. Creamery excellent and well worth the visit
Clean and a good choice of beer and spirits and the best prices in town. It also shows football etc on the TVs and plenty of pool and snooker tables.
Watched the football match and had some drinks. Friendly club. Nice staff. Definitely go again when in Hawes.
Following a very sad Saturday saying goodbye to our loved one, we visited Hawes the following day. Upon arrival I had to make a dash to a bathroom.. suffering following surgery! I saw the club initially and dashed in, there was a grey haired lady stood by the bar and one other couple sat beside her, I asked politely to use the bathroom to which she just nodded in the direction of it! As I left I thanked her so much, not one word or smile from her, I was joining my husband who had parked the car and we were going to have a drink, however as I stepped outside I heard an uproar of laughter. I’m so pleased I managed to amuse these very rude people in some way, and obviously they had a better weekend than me. On the sign outside it says “Everyone welcome” not in this case! Any way I just wanted to make this point, as they were sure to know I’d hear them. However just to let them know, as I’m a retired Police Officer, I have a very broad back, and rudeness was received on a daily basis so thank you so much for the unwelcoming experience. I hope you don’t have to endure such a sad weekend as we had!
