We are individual, sometimes unusual and as far from today's bland and identical chain pubs as it's possible to get. We like to welcome everyone through the door. We pride ourselves in pouring the best drinks including premium cask ales. We serve authentic pub food, Sunday Dinners and Fantastic Steaks to the highest restaurant standards from a locally-sourced menu. We offer Group Functions and Events and we screen live sports events in HD throughout the pub every day.

Called for lunch and we both had the festive roast turkey dinner which was excellent. We have been a few times here and each time has been fresh hot food good choice for traditional pub with a touch of class
I can't thank the manager and chef enough as they very kindly opened early to provided a buffet and private area for us following my father's funeral. There was a fire lit for our arrival, the food was lovely,everything was very professional and organised. But id like to thank Jackie for her kindness and compassionate at a difficult time for us. Dog friendly but it seems forced upon them. The dogs are allowed in one room but have to stay on the concrete slab floor and the staff don't seem happy to have dogs in. They have beds but the beds absolutely STINK. I ended up putting my jacket on the floor for our dog. The food was OK but the roast was a small, fancy portion and an hour or so later my other half was hungry again.
Had an excellent meal of steak pie and chips. It was delicious and there was plenty of it. Very friendly pub. I sat outside and had a good chat with the locals and staff who all seemed to know each other! Excellent pricing too. Ring o bells was 30% more expensive the day before and not great !
Food was good and priced reasonably. The atmosphere is suitable for families and when the weather is nice could sit in the quite spacious beer garden. Good service by the staff. Spacious car park which is located opposite the pub. Quiet location. Overall good experience and recommended.
