About us

Welcome to Hardy’s

Hardy’s is a traditional family pub in the heart of Dorchester, Dorset.

Prominently placed on Trinity Street, you can’t miss us, and as soon as you step inside, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

Our pub is dog and family friendly, and we have plenty of great entertainment on offer each and every week. We host fantastic live music most weekends and show plenty of live sport on our big screens.

As well as live sport and music, we also have pool available on the weekends – and anyone is welcome to join in.

Behind the bar we serve a great range of lagers, beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks which you can enjoy on our comfy indoor seating or outside in our lovely beer garden.

We’re open every day of the week from 12 noon, so come on in and say hello. You’re welcome.

The pub is great and good atmosphere but this is the 2nd time I've been there and the live band has been pants. Go for the cheap beer , don't go for the band

Lovely pub, often has live music from local bands and singers. If you don't mind some of the elder' gentlemen customers with wandering eyes it's a great place to spend an evening. Good prices for drinks and a overall good atmosphere.

New owner. Has been brightened up which is good as they haven't lost the old fashioned look. Choice of ciders diminished, no Cheddar Valley anymore. Charged £1.30 for glass of soda water on New Year Eve(I was the dedicated driver) Probably won't be going back unless they have a particularly good band on.
