A beautiful cafe with a lovely view, nice staff and absolutely abysmal food. It’s a shame because I want it to succeed, but the shocking cheapness and lack of effort put into the food prevents me from supporting it apart from buying a frankly mediocre coffee. Of particular note is the burger with nothing but a bun and sauce, an absolute ripoff.

Waited ages for a menu. Coffee was warm not hot. We sat on a small table outside that was seated for 4 people. When the food came the plates didn’t all fit on the table, instead we all had to have them hanging over the table. We asked if two of us could move to another table and was told we couldn’t (there were lots of empty tables). We all had an English Breakfast. Was basic but edible. Sauces offered were Aldi own brand in the bottles. Paid £8.90 for one egg, 2 x bacon, one sausage, one slice of toast and small spoonful of beans. When we asked if we could pay separately by card the owner said they were too busy and suggested one of us pay and then transfer each other the money. Definitely style over substance. Would not return.

The staff at this seaside cafe were lovely and attentive, but the food didn't match up. My partner's halloumi salad was sparse and lacked dressing, almost as if the dish was thrown together as an afterthought. The pita bread was probably straight out from the packet, it would've been nice if it was toasted or heated. As for my burger, it was disappointingly small and overwhelmed by a heavy, sweet sauce. In comparison, I've had much more substantial and better-tasting burgers at upscale restaurants for the same price. While the staff did their best, the food was a letdown. We won't be returning.

You better believe all the negative reviews here. I regret I haven't checked before walking in. No Idea how this place survives as business. (Clearly owners don't care to improve) Great location and friendly staff ... Still, I can't forgive the lack of effort: Serving this food to the customers especially with that price tag is a joke. Even the sauce served was from Aldi's own brand. Come on! I like Aldi when I do my shopping, not when I pay money for eating out. The burger was the smallest and the most boring I've ever seen. Both dishes looked so sad and tasted like nothing. Speechless. I think I better don't waste more time writing here.

Nice little cafe. We stopped for lunch. I had the home made burger, my daughter had sausage and chips from the kids menu. The kids meal did not come with any vegetables. Some baked beans wouldn't have gone amiss at least. My burger was homemade and quite tasty, and came with cheese. However, other than that it had a squirt of tomato ketchup and mayonnaise on it. No salad or anything. Flavour wise it was very much like a big Mac. Overall, the food was fine, but not great, and the prices were expensive for the quality. The burger was about £14, for which I'd expect more. Service was good
