The Christmas roast was really awful we had beef and it was grey and couldn't cut through it with the butter knives given. It was such a shame for the money we really weren't impressed. We even mentioned not liking the beef when asked how the meal was and since then the server became very rude clearing the table immediately and not fully letting us finish drinks. There was then a 45 minute wait from main to pudding. Overall wouldn't be going again and very disappointed.

Great place for groups as restaurant and bar downstairs with full and varied menu plus Indian restaurant choices as well. Plenty of space, good atmosphere 👌

Takeaway carvery. So disappointed with this carvery, the yorkshire pud was overdone so was thrown away, and the veg was just not appetising. Two joke sausages 1.5inch long, why bother? One small ball of stuffing that was dry and broke to pieces. What you get is pathetic for what you pay, and presentation didnt exist and looked nothing like the illustration. The beef was ok. Talking of which, this is the first time i have ever been CHARGED MORE FOR A T/AWAY than to dine in! The excuse given was because of the packaging... the retort to that is that when taking away you are not using the heating/lighting etc, hence the usual discount for a t/away. However, i can only blame myself for not seeing the small print about the extra charge. Never again.

Didn't stop the night. Booked in my Nephew to stop in Melton instead of staying in a village. He described the bedroom he had as good Plenty of things going on around the bar and superb food. Night life busy Saturday night. A nice town to visit

Stopped in For lunch. Great choice of food, you have both a standard pub type menu and a Indian restaurant menu. The food was very good and the service was great.
