On a quiet January evening, my wife and I popped in for a bite to eat. I placed our food and drinks order at the bar, Lily took my order, she was very helpful with a friendly demeanour. Our food duly arrived, a sizzling gammon platter and steak pie. Both very good although I have to say the mash that accompanied the steak pie my wife ordered - was not the best. A minor point as the bill included a pint of Moretti and large Diet Coke, a very reasonable £22.58. We will return.

Great experience at the coach and horses tonight. The food was on point, steak cooked exactly as requested, and Sam and Shannon were fantastic hosts. We've been here a few times and this was by far the best food and service.

Came on Christmas day and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the roast turkey was definitely the best I have tasted. We were not rushed even though there were obviously more diners booked in to follow us. We went to thank the staff as we left only to find another party had just arrived and were giving the staff a hard time over their seating and looking for a discount even before they started their meal. We felt so sorry for the staff and hope they didn't give in to the trouble makers! Well done Coach and Horses, you were definitely appreciated by this family. 5 stars all the way.

Another great visit to Coach and Horses, wonderful service and rapport with the staff - especially Lily! We attended the quiz on 10th August, which was a fabulous occasion, great quiz for charity, Dave was a fab quiz master. We will be back. X
