Lovely pub with friendly atmosphere. Warm and welcoming reception from the owners. The chefs Anton and Theo have created the perfect menu at affordable prices and the freshly cooked food was amazing!
I would give more than five stars if I could! We had a party there over Christmas and we had an absolutely fantastic night!! Gary and Sam were brilliant and they and all the staff looked after us so well! Very friendly and extremely helpful and generous! They provided loads of delicious food and the price per person was fantastic and everybody raved about the food and the whole fun night!! Great choice of drinks as well! We will definitely be back!! If you have not been to the Thatched Cottage yet, go there!! The staff and atmosphere along with great food and drinks and great prices make it such an amazing place to go! Thank you so much again to Gary and Sam and all the staff!
I have not eaten here, but the ale is always good and the staff are excellent. Gary and Sam have really turned The Thatched Cottage around. I believe the food is fantastic.
Popped down yesterday to use my £50 voucher and treated ourselves and guests to roasts. Started with Honey & Ginger Pork Belly Bites, a glorious combination of flavour, along with a the biggest and tastiest halloumi fries any of us have tried! 3 Chicken and 1 Beef roast later, safe to say we were suitably stuffed! Really surprised with the amount of beef provided and all food was cooked to perfection.. Thank you ❤️
Very good sized car park, plenty of space. Decent atmospherics inside, very spacious with wifi and lots of TVs on the walls. Clean tidy, friendly and efficient staff, decent beer garden which is enclosed. The pub is dog friendly which is great, nice little snug area, a mixture of wooden seating and comfy chairs. Good menu with some pub favourites on show, we had the Thatched burger with fries and onion rings which was very good quality. Based on this visit I would recommend, £64 for 3 of us to eat including drinks which I think is decent value.
