Very tatty seats. Leatherette ripped carpets bitty. Dishes had food on the bottom on several, and some food stuck on top. All you can eat breakfast/drinks ran out of orange juice and apple juice, coffee machine ran out of milk. Won't be going back again

First visit. Booked a table for dinner for myself, partner and granddaughter. I booked on line and left a note to say we would be bringing my granddaughter Tillie who would be celebrating her 11th birthday. When we arrived there was a birthday banner, card and a present on the table for Tilly which she loved and put a big smile on her face. We were served by the lovely Jenny who went above and beyond to make our evening a rememberable one. When Tillies desert arrived it had been decorated with candles and jenny arrived singing. I cannot thank you all enough for making this a very special night for Tilly x

Food was great and the service was polite and timely. I was on my own so atmosphere was not based on being a couple or in a group. Pricing was about right and worthy of a good tip

Just stayed for a night at the Coldra Premier Inn at Newport for one night with the option of breakfast at the Coldra Beefeater. For £9.99 you can have continental breakfast and traditional english breakfast. Unlimited on the continental breakfast which you help yourself to and order as much as you want on the English breakfast which they bring to you Staff offer a fantastic service and are quick and efficient. The food was to a very good standard and I would recommend a visit if you are in the area.h

We went for the festive menu which is a good price. The starters were fine but not really exciting. I had the posh prawn cocktail and my husband had the pate. Both were fine and infact better than the mains. We both had the beef wellington which was deconstructed. So it was a bed of pastry stuffed with spinach and on top 8oz sliced steak with mushrooms. The special gravy was nice that it came with but the roast potators were floury and tasted like frozen ones. We could not eat them. The steak however was cooked to our liking and was quite tender. I asked for medium rare and my husband had medium which was what we wanted but the meal was not very hot overall. It would have been difficult to reheat without spoiling the steak. This meal was just OK as the mains a little disappointing. The service was speedy and efficient but not very festive.
