A perfect winter’s evening… great food, great beer… lots of wines by the glass including several local Devon wines. The landlord and team clearly take enormous pride in what they do. It is fabulous. I love pubs and I can genuinely say this is one of the best pubs that I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot!

Had a Sunday lunch whilst visiting my sister who lives near The Grove. What a gem of a pub! Low beamed ceiling, cosy atmosphere and brilliant food. The Bratwurst scotch egg was perfection, warm with a soft centre and washed down with a lovely pint of local ale. Sunday lunch itself was delicious and obviously cooked with care and attention to detail. My only regret is I did not have room for dessert, though I did manage another pint. Please make the effort to visit The Grove, it is most certainly worth the trip.

Had a top-notch meal for four this lunchtime. The landlord, Rob and his team could not have been more obliging. Excellent food, service and ambience in this superb pub. I look forward to our next visit and would thoroughly recommend! 👍🍻

We had a very enjoyable evening meal here. The food and service were both very good. The treacle tart was amazing! Parking is a bit limited and I would recommend booking a table as it gets busy.

First time visitors this evening and we'll definitely be back... Took our Nanna for her first steak dinner since moving to South Molton from the Midlands and it was the most I've ever seen her eat! The whitebait starter was tasty and generous, the haggis scotch egg with whisky mayo was perfect (if I wasn't driving I might have added a little more whisky!) And we both enjoyed the red Thai curry. Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
