A great no-frills bar serving drinks at excellent prices and with a lovely landlady. A pub just the way it should be

I went to the Grey Horse with some 20 + elderly people for an Afternoon Tea event. I understood that this was a new venture for the Grey Horse ,and it proved to be very popular with the attendees. We enjoyed a fresh fair ,nicely served ,and in friendly surroundings. The timing of the event was late morning.

A step up from the inimical Union Inn only next door… and oh my gosh, a toilet door that serves its purpose

It's been over 25 years since I was last in here. It seems a lot bigger than how I remember it back then. It was quite lively at five on a Saturday evening, which is always a good sign. I got served quite quick and the beer was nice, I had a Holt's Bitter. I only stayed for a short while but I can imagine it been quite lively throughout the night. It's actually nice to still see that there are a few pubs still open in Reddish! I've not lived in Reddish for 20 years and I'm amazed at how many have closed.
