Long established Enterprise Inns pub in Temple Park on a busy roundabout. Set back from the road in some trees, the pub has a large bar, with a pool room to one side. There are two handpulls, dispensing Black Sheep Bitter and Hobgoblin. A quiz is held on Wednesdays and Sundays. Bar snacks are available, as well as Sunday Lunch. There is a glass conservatory at the front of the building, with picnic table mainly for smokers. Buses to South Shields Town Centre stop nearby.

Always heard good things but had to try for myself warm welcome at the bar from staff clean tables the Sunday carvery was delicious had the turkey with all the trimmings and gravy to die for. Will return again. 5 stars..

Second time we have been. 5 Sunday lunches and 5 pints of soft drinks for 68 quid. Reasonable price. Nice food - some could do with being a little hotter. All in all good value. Will be back again for a 3rd visit.
Absolutely love in here, we've come back time and time again couldn't fault anything and the staff are canny and always make you feel welcome would highly recommend.
