Stumbled into this amazing restaurant/pub - the atmosphere was wonderful, food outstanding, the only thing that let it down and this is a biggie for me - the cutlery is super poor 😔. I mean 20p cutlery. The place is eclectic and food is served in plastic bowls or on plastic plates - there is some pottery - but if only some money was spent on the cutlery. I'd most definitely eat here again but I'd take my own cutlery with me 😊

Lucky Lychee combines two of my favourites things - Asian cuisine and the British pub. The interior is classy and cozy, I appreciated the attention to detail. The food was excellent, there wasn’t a single thing I didn’t like, I’d recommend a mix of starters as the portions are modest and it’s always good to try new dishes isn’t it? The Goan Pork Vindaloo was delicious and will be a winner for spice lovers. Why not 5 stars then? It’s nearly there - service, whilst smiley, could have been a little sharper. Minor feedback, the food is the star here.

Had a few meals here now and all of them having been absolutely fantastic. Staff are super friendly and attentive; decor is wonderful and the food and drink is excellent: best oriental food I’ve had in the UK. Also reasonably priced for the quality of the food and service. Make sure you book in advance as it is very popular.

No.1 choice for dinner in Winchester. Hands down. Flavourful, amazing food in a beautiful setting. We have eaten here many, many times & always had a delicious meal & wonderful experience. There is so much creativity & consideration behind the menu, which has key favourites alongside seasonal updates so there’s always something new to try. Highlights: mushroom bao & Nicole’s lime iced tea (or martini). The service is friendly & attentive. Thank you in particular to the host, James, who has made us feel welcome since we first started eating Lucky Lychee in 2021.
