Great atmosphere and reasonable prices! Service was great. Only advice - dont attempt the carpark! Went on a quiet Tuesday evening and there was nowhere to park - better off going to the bigger parking opposite.
Excellent value for money. Our room was clean and comfortable. Service and food were amazing. Large portions. Pub dog, Arnie is just an incredible animal. Soft as pudding. Would happily return at a later date.
Stayed here while I was riding the King Alfred's Way trail. The room was great and a welcome place to relax after riding all day. Dinner and breakfast were good as well.
Perfect for those doing king Alfred way bike ride. Super helpful, was able to hose the bikes down and they were happy for us to store them in our room. Pub grub excellent also (steak & ale pie!). Service really good!!
Great family rooms and friendly service. Good range of real ales and pub food. Only comment would be that the sausages could be better. Otherwise it is a dog friendly pub which creates a nice atmosphere but does mean you have to watch where you step in the garden...
