If you're after a country pub with an open fire and real ales keep driving. Went for a Sunday lunch - had all the atmosphere of my old comprehensive school dinner hall. Vegetarian option was a frozen pizza, fish and chips was nice enough. Staff were polite and it's not too expensive.
Polite staff and good service and nice variety of food but not much to offer for kids drinks but overall it’s was a good place would go again
We did a random stop mid-day as we wanted a coffee before our next activity. Place had no guests in bar/restaurant and breakfast service was long over. The amazingly friendly owner/staff offered to make us coffee anyway and made a big pot to share and, gave us a pack of biscuits too. Nothing fancy, just great service and that extra mile in making us feel welcome.
Fantastic Sunday Dinner value for £9.95 for a mix of meats and the works to go with it...Superb home cooking and nothing was too much for Ann marie and the lads...Finished our meals and then had a few games of pool on the 2 tables in this friendly, laid back environment...Well done All and see you next time...👍🏻
Our first visit to the Green Bridge, and we'll certainly be visiting again, the team are very welcoming and the Sunday Lunch was really good, plenty of food and of good quality and at £9.95 for one large course was brilliant!! See you in two weeks time. Mark & Rowenna.
