Nice place for a night or two. Rooms have everything you need, good shower and comfy bed. Pub has been refurbished really well. Location great, opposite station and 10 mins from seafront.

So expensive!!! £8 plus for coffee and cider, London prices, kids running around the place. But captive audience for people waiting for the train. Cosy and warm, lovely staff. But control the children!!!

Great Hotel/pub. Stayed on Monday night when food is half-price! The room was compact but well-appointed and the bathroom had a shower rather than a shower over a bath. The breakfast was great and freshly cooked to order. Will stay here again when next in the area. It's a shame the Railway Hotel does not have its own car park, but there is a small public car park no more than 50m away.

We stayed in this hotel for my mother in laws funeral. We travelled from Northern Ireland and our 3 grown up kids travelled by train. Hence the situation of the hotel next to Worthing station was very convenient. The hotel itself is beautifully restored. We thought it might be noisy but it was in fact quiet and peaceful. The staff were so sensitive to the fact that we were here for a funeral and readily extended their good wishes. The food was reasonably priced and tasty. Jesse is such an asset in the bar and Restuarant ( thank you Jesse!) we have no hesitation in recommending this lovely hotel. Well done to the railway hotel.

I had the BEST time staying at The Railway Hotel. A super lovely new Team and Managers working hard to make sure every detail of my stay was just perfect. It looks nothing liked it used to, but if anything all of the character and charm that would have been there ...is back! The new menu is delicious and my definite favourites were the new sausage roll and the gammon steak is a MUST. I visit lots of Pubs on the coast and this team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and there was some beautiful pint pulling too. A must visit!
