About us

Rich and Carys would like to welcome you to The Pheasant Inn. Since taking on the tenancy in March 2016, the couple have made the Pheasant a great place for both locals and people visiting the area to meet, eat and enjoy the surroundings Toddington has to offer. With Richard in the kitchen cooking an array of locally sourced homecooked food and Carys out front to welcome you, a visit to this friendly cotswold pub is a must!

All our food is prepared with love and care and using the freshest ingredients.

The Pheasant Inn is conveniently located next door to the historic GWR Toddington Station, which for days out is a must for families and railway buffs alike. We are a traditional Cotswold Inn serving homemade food and Donnington Ales.

We were driving past this place and saw how busy they were and decided to give it a try for dinner. If we are ever in this area again we will definitely go back and I highly recommend it to anyone else in the area. Great food, some unique dishes to me, and the service was also good. They have some unique tables outside that also look fun.

I just ate one of the best meals of my life here. The rump steak with mushroom sauce was amazing, and even the onion rings, which in America are just flavorless pieces of breading, were delicious. On top of everything else, the bill for this giant plate of food and a soda only came to 29 pounds! The outside of the building is gorgeous, and the inside has a historic feel but is very laid back. If I return to the Cotswolds in the future, I'll definitely be back.

We got the vegetarian sausage with fried mushrooms started and the beef pastry pie and creamy mushroom starter. Everything was delicious! Huge portions for the mains. We were stuffed. The staff were nice and attentive. It was a good atmosphere.
