Friendly, family run pub with outdoor area located in centre of small town.
Quiz nights Monday and Thursday in aid of local charities.
Free function room available for weddings, funerals, parties etc.
Refurbished 2014, and more open-plan than of old, I like the fresh new look. There are some nice touches, such as the ceiling spot-lighting and snob screens, and the fireplace has been given a more modern look. Plenty of pictures from local artists and sporting Memorabilia adorn the walls and quire a few TV screens. Full Disabled access and WC facilities . Quiz nights on Monday and Thursday.

Nice local pub. Friendly and helpful staff
Had a really good pizza here didn't have to wait for long at all good Guinness very nice helpfull staff
Very good dog friendly pub they don't do food but the beers good
Pleasant and comfortable large pub with alcoves. Hand pumped beer with Timothy Taylor Landlord and on Father's Day, Theakstons bitter at £2.50 a pint. A blonde beer option would be nice. The rest are fizzy larger except for keg Theakstons mild which satisfies my friend who normally drinks Guinness. A few TVs around showing sport midweek but at least the sound is kept low so it doesn't interfere with those who want a conversation. No food, only snacks.
Nice pub with good selection of drinks. It is dog friendly so that is a winner on my book. The facilities are well kept as well. The staff is very friendly and smiley. No idea what the Inn is like, but if it anything like the pub it will definitely be a great place.
