An absolutely top level boozer with great dart boards and great company for a perfect top level beer with legit people

Hmm. Nowhere to sit because one person taking a table for 4 in every corner. The stage area reserved for a 70 birthday party 4 hours before they are booked. Uncomfortable atmospheric due to this.

I go on a Monday for the karaoke. Wish it was every Monday but I can't be there all the time due to work..Can't believe they can do beer this cheaply when there's entertainment on. Main thing though, is that it's such a friendly pub. Go there now! As often as you can. Not every community has a place like this still running.

This was the first stop in our Hackney to Whitechapel pub crawl, and I really liked it. Definitely a 'locals' pub, but the service was excellent and great prices too.

The Globe is a simple but great pub, close to Hackney Central station. A firm loyal local following have a drink or two here. The service is splendid and the gossip, intriguing. A fine local pub for a beer.
