This is a review of the Restaurant only. We enjoyed a delicious - and festive - holiday dinner, surrounded by what looked like a world's record of Father Christmas figurines. The prawn-salmon starter was truly fresh-caught worthy. The duck confit definitely worth quacking about. The ambience - cozy with wood burning fireplace - earned an A+. I risked expulsion by lending a personal touch to the flickering flame begging for a log on. Hint: At the Globe as in many instances...don't play with fire. Great experience.
It was the best cream tea we’ve had! 2 huge scones, lots of fresh cream and jam, a pot of tea and best of all, the scones were nice and warm and fresh! A must for £6.95 a person! It’s a bargain 😋😋😋
Oh my just ordered takeaway fish and chips. The fish was HUGE and cooked to perfection. Delicious and the tartar sauce and minted peas were lovely. Chips were nice . Staff were lovely and a very efficient service. Thank you
Lovely pub and hotel. Great friendly service. We only stayed 1 night. The evening meal was really nice and good value. Left too early for the breakfast. Overall would recommend
Came in for a Sunday lunch and it was the best vegetarian nut roast I have ever had - they also offered gluten free! Delicious food, excellent price and the staff were so friendly. Also had a local cider which was great! I will be back again!
