If I could leave a 0 I would There seems to be A LOT of similar reviews on here about the security so seriously think twice about booking here. I attended an engagement party last night and I must say the security are the worst I've ever seen. They didn't leave us alone. I went out the front to make a call and was then told I cannot come back in because I had trainers on even though they were shoes and I had been inside all night Even when we got there at 645 we were told we couldn't go downstairs to the event because it wasn't ready yet even though we were the ones setting up and someone's mum was already down there setting up! Seriously need to get rid of them they were absolutely awful. I did like the venue and was actively looking for a venue for my engagement party and thought when we got there I would use it but because of the ignorant selfish busy body security I will definitely never be coming here again
Very funky and cool decor, very busy. Didn't feel overly welcomed, even though we were only stopping for a quick drink whilst waiting for some of our party to change in their hotels before we head off to another venue. We were immediately told there was no room for us, we couldn't go in the garden. We were allowed to order at the bar when we explained the situation. But when going to use the rest room a staff member intercepted us and quickly told us once again there was no room in the garden so don't go out there. I would have liked to have see the rest of the bar and garden, even if it was just to lay eyes on it. But we drank our drinks and left as soon as we had finished. I have still given a 4 star review as I understand Saturday nights will be busy. But if you wish to enjoy this night out I assume they do reservations? Or at least I hope they do.
Excellent Sunday roast in a lovely atmosphere! My experience at the George Vaults is something that I want to suggest to those who decide to spend a day in this lovely town not far from London. I ordered the Sunday roast Tris to taste all types of roasts available with the option of dairy-free! The dish was well-presented and delicious!
The food and serving was exceptional, kids menu was wonderful unique, the garden is absolutely gorgeous and it had an amazing, homy, atmosphere. Would 100% recommend to go and enjoy yourself, your friends and family together. This place deserves a much higher rating.
We came here on a bank holiday on Monday and it was much less busy in comparison to other times. The latte is good and we ordered the traditional English breakfast, which was good as well. We will most likely come back again
