First Visited this pub on the way back from foxton locks we were just stopping for a drink but ended up eating. So we decided to have our monthly ladies that lunch meal here. The girls loved it the over 60s light lunch is amazing value and we squeezed in a bottle of wine. The place was packed but the service was excellent. We will be returning.
This was the first time I'd eaten in the George on a Friday night. What an absolutely fantastic experience. The Food was outstanding, the service was brilliant and the atmosphere was wonderful. Nothing but laughter and respect for others. The bar staff were great and I only waited 15 seconds to be served at a busy bar. I cannot find any fault with this pub, first impressions last and the first impression of this pub, its customer focused, making sure each customer is given the gold standard of service.This was the first time, it was a delight to give the staff a tip, well deserved. I will return to enjoy the delights , atmosphere and service of The George Brixworth.

As much village hub as village pub. Great food, plenty of choices, changing "specials" mean there's always something different.
