About us

Our home is the pretty village of Maulden, we’re surrounded by the ancient Maulden Wood and we sit approximately half way along the Greensand Ridge Walk, which has been recognised as an area of outstanding natural beauty by the National Trust.

We serve unpretentious, hearty and wholesome food all prepared lovingly on site by our team. Every dish we serve is handmade and fresh, and our menu evolves in line with the seasons.

Our regular dishes are complemented by daily specials and we serve a mouth-watering selection of pizzas, which are two-for-one every Monday. On Sundays we serve a lovingly prepared pork, beef and nut roast throughout the day alongside some of our regular favourites. Our ingredients are carefully sourced and we’re passionate about quality and provenance, we only work with the best suppliers as locally as possible.

Serving up an array of fast-style dishes with The George Inn twist, ‘George Street’, our outdoor kitchen can be found in our all-season garden alongside our gin bar which boasts over 45 varieties of our favourite spirit. The flexibility of our all-season garden means that areas can be used on an exclusive basis, don’t hesitate to ask if you have an idea for an event.
