Very quiet, nice and clean, very friendly staff . Hints of South African style of food as well as fish and chips and burgers etc. Good range of manx beers.
The staff were very helpful and the the food was excellent plus our room was so clean warm and very comfortable to stay in, I would highly recommend the George Hotel to any one wanting to stay in the Isle of man.

A nice pub and hotel in the centre of Castletown. The only vegetarian option is a burger at a hefty price of 15 pounds. Staff not too friendly that day.
The George hotel is in Castletown Square. You can eat & drink outside but you have to stay within there area. Staff customer service skills were amazing. Plenty of menus inside. Tables inside are numbered. When the road racing is on this hotel gets very busy
