Welcome to the George
The George Inn was established by the early 17th century. Central in the village it's the quintessential rural pub, with a traditional bar, outside seating, a large function room with bar, and comfortable accommodation.
A minute's walk leads to Coleridge Cottage, and on the doorstep are the Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Nice pub, nice choice of beers and dog friendly
Great place for a beer. A real 'local' pub serving a wide selection of real ales. Music from the 70s and 80s when we were there on video screen, which was great not too loud. No food or accommodation. Friendly landlady.
A great cosy well run post covid Pub with super friendly staff, with great beers and ciders. The best pub in the village..
Quiet at the time that we were there, but nice atmosphere and friendly lady behind the bar. Beer garden and good social distance practice observed.
Such a great place! Brilliant atmosphere even for young kids but also for all ages. Owner is really friendly as well and it's a perfect pub. There was a fire there and it all burned inside but it's redone now. Also there is a massive beer garden with bowls playing pitch. There is a second pub called "The Micro George" which I believe is available for hire. It's round the back and it was what was used when the fire happened. Really interesting historical background and history as well.
