Brilliant country pub. Turned up by chance on a Sunday evening looking for dinner. Had a brilliant meal and live music! Dog friendly, great food and plenty of choice for beers! The atmosphere was welcoming and felt like a lovely community.
The most amazing wonderful food. I had a salad made for me. It was absolutely Divine. It was like a treasure trove of flavours. Reading this you might think ^ it only a salad ^ But I can assure you it was a most remarkable dinning experience of the highest quality. The most exciting tasty salad I have ever had in my life. The chef is so talented and skilled. The service was wondering too. Highly highly recommended
We can this evening for a late Sunday dinner and the whole experience was wonderful! The food was delicious with generous portions! Even the vegetables were cooked perfectly! We was pleasantly surprised by the live music artist was Stevie jones which was a dream to enjoy a fantastic Sunday dinner to live music! Was a lovely atmosphere the staff were fantastic and so attentive, we had plenty of room on our table! Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back with friends and family!
Stayed 2 nights over Easter with my 3 dogs. A group of friends also stayed. Fantastically comfortable beds, well stocked tea/coffee tray ( those ginger geese biscuits are amazing) Lovely toiletries too...the shower gel and shampoo were much needed as I forgot mine. Well stocked bar, with a huge selection of wines, beers, ales and ciders. The food is exceptional and there's plenty of it. The breakfast is just the best. Lots of choice for veggies too. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Morning dog walks are easy as the pub is located in a lovely village surrounded by beautiful countryside. This was possibly my 6th stay and I'll definitely be back.
This is a lovely country pub with accommodation. The friendly landlord is a devotee of real ale but also stocks a wide craft beer selection of cans, bottles and keg beers. There is a good wine list and an extensive menu. Motorhome and campervan owners are welcome to use the car park overnight whether they eat at the pub or not but breakfasts are first class!
