I visited the fox yesterday for a dinner with my partner. I was greeted at the door by the lovely Kristy and Charley who swiftly took us to our table. My server was Lily who was extremely helpful and cheery, she let us know what she recommended on the menu. Kate made our drinks very quickly and delivered them over to us with a smile. The food was absolutely gorgeous, the chefs know what they’re doing. All in all it was an amazing experience, in such a welcoming atmosphere. Will 100% be returning.
Can’t recommend enough. My server was Lily and she was so friendly and a great help recommending the best dishes- not to mention the food was delicious. The host Kate was extremely welcoming and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant, I could not fault. 10/10 would cannot wait to visit again !
Another lovely visit, with friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The only (and very small criticism) was the amount of gravy! Easily rectified though as our server brought a large gravy boat to the table when we asked
The food was very nice. It was very well decorated, for Christmas. It was more of a restaurant than a pub. It was very enjoyable. The salt and pepper squid were delicious, and the Korean chicken pieces were just right as a small snack. The chocolate brownie was also a meal in itself but was nice to share.
A surprise special birthday party for my wife. Arrangements made in advance by my daughter for the function room and catering were very simple. On the day, the room was available for decorating and looked fantastic. The food was excellent and plentiful for our party. The bar service in the room was brilliant, and the staff were professional and friendly. Our guests and ourselves travelled a distance to this venue as we have always wanted to visit. The parking was more than adequate for everyone. We then stayed in the pub for an evening meal with some of our guests. The vegan choices were delicious and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this venue for the function room or the pub as the staff made us feel very welcome.
