Lovely atmosphere. Went for a friend's birthday. Service was OK, bit slow on drinks, but they were very busy. I had Seabass, tasted lovely came with tomatoes some were cook some raw. Would have mentioned, but I was asked if my food was OK before I even managed a bite! Nice selection on the menu. We all had something different, and we enjoyed it. The mini pudding and cocktails were a nice finish to the meal. I would go again.
Had a work lunch here this afternoon and well looked after by the lovely waitress Leonie. I had a two course set lunch, a nourish salad bowl with mini dessert and coffee. Food is nicely plated, taste wise I think it needs a bit more salad dressing.
Stopped at the pub after a long walk and was not disappointed. friendly staff and reasonable prices. Luckily we booked a table as it was very busy, even late afternoon. Ordered the Trio of Roasts as couldn't decide on a meat. Well worth it! Beef, pork and chicken, crackling, stuffing wrapped in bacon, bread sauce with some veggies hidden in there and a few roast potatoes. Chased this with a mini dessert (choc brownie) and a coffee. Wasn't as 'mini' as I thought it would be which was a nice surprise. Delicious. Nice setting too. Definitely recommend.
Lovely atmosphere! Staff were fantastic but the wait for food was quite long - understandable on a busy Friday evening. Cocktails were very nice (recommend the mai tai). The food varied, calamari was lovely. The chicken burger was also great however the fries were standard. The desserts were average and I was particularly disappointed by the pavlova which was basically just a hollow meringue with a few berries around it. Overall an enjoyable meal!
Had booked for two online on an easy to navigate website. On arrival (for lunch), was shown to our table that had been specifically requested for, by a window. Shannon the server, was courteous, professional & friendly. The food was great, & would highly recommend the Hallumi fries for starters. One trend that I encounter in most restaurants I visit, is that the service charge is only included for 6 or more customers. I find this a bit unfair, as the server, does a great job, be it for one or more customers. Service charge should be added & leave it for the customer to decide. Most customers believe it's already added onto the bill. I make it a point to get it included. Bill was £73.35 (excluding service charge), which was very reasonable.
