The Fox & Duck is a cozy pub with amazing food and a warm atmosphere. Think classic pub dishes but with a delicious, creative twist. The Sunday roast is a standout – so comforting! The staff are super friendly and make everyone feel like a regular. Plus, they’ve got a great selection of drinks for all tastes. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed meal or a chill night out with friends. Definitely a go-to place for a good time!
We had walked from Ham house and came out at the Fox and Duck pub which is handy for the bus stop as it poured with rain. Drinks nice. And liked them having crayons and paper for children. They enjoyed their bowls of chips too. :)
A wonderful independent pub run by a lovely husband and wife. The pub passed my burger test!! The burger was made with minced beef served with blue cheese and gherkins. The side salad had a delicious dressing and the chips were fabulous too. The landlady was friendly, engaging and very hospitable. Can't wait to try more things from the menu!
Did a the capital ring walk and ended uo at this pub! It was not very busy. The staff were lovely. We had the chicken salad, the Guinness and steak pie and the fox and duck burger. The Guinness and Steak pie was superb!!! Really recommend. The steak was so tender and gravy was scrumptious! Totally recommend.
Would like to share my great experience of booking a space for a large group of about 30 people. From the first inquiry communication from Laura was brilliant and extremely prompt very easy to talk to about any specific needs or questions I had. They were very accommodating to our party, setting aside a large space of the pub and well laid out for our arrival. Service was great while we were there no complaints about that from us. The only thing that could be improved would be if the portion sizes were larger for the price of some of the menu items. Other than that the atmosphere was great would recommend.
