This is a REAL pub, with two professionals. EXPERIENCED professionals. They don't pretend to be a five star restaurant although the meals are real pub meals Always a smile. We have lost so many of these real pubs.
I'm a pub lover, and this is my favourite. Unpretentious, friendly and just the way a village pub should be.
I had fish and chips here early November. The landlady cooked them fresh and it was delicious..the 'evidence' is in my photos! Crispy batter, fresh fish and chunky chips.. The owners are really nice, this pub should not be overlooked.
Friendliest landlords/owners I,ve met in a long time,most welcoming,and the beer was great too!
