Came here for dinner during a weekend stay nearby. Food was delicious. Service was great and it is dog friendly. There was some live music on aswell.
Great atmosphere, busy, with the log fire roaring when we visited, which was ideal for a typically freezing Scottish day. Obviously had a very nice upgrade, looking fresh and very tastefully decorated throughout....its definitely the local pub, everyone wishes they had. Fish and chips was great, as was the Steak Pie. Mosaic Brewery, the brewed on site beer was lovely too. Then you have the cherry on the top, the Uncharted Whisky room, with splendid Drams galore.....Well done...top job.
We popped in for a drink on Saturday and were greeted with a lovely welcome from the bar man (very tall chap) he was very polite and courteous and had a sense of humour. On Sunday we made a slight detour to come back and try the food and we were not disappointed. Same gentleman greeted us with the same lovely welcome. I had the Sunday roast and would highly recommend it and my partner had the burger again he would recommend it. We had that much that we were not going to have a dessert but the bar man changed our minds and recommend the jammy dodger special well this was absolutely delicious. Came out fresh from the oven and I'm not a fan of custard but this was by far the best ever. Thank you very much for your lovely service, your great food and the lovely atmosphere. Next time we are in the area we will pop in.
Popped in adhoc and was not disappointed. Few ppl playing instruments which made the atmosphere great. Very child friendly, building blocks for the kids and no ugly looks when children moving about x
Fintry Inn is a hidden gem in a beautiful village. The staff are incredibly welcoming and made a fuss over Lola the Labrador, so I can confirm it is a very dog friendly inn! I visited with my step-dad and we were informed it is now under new ownership so I believe the menu (at least some items) are new. The chef came out to check how everything was and frankly, it was all delicious! Plenty of vegan and non-vegan options, and food was fresh and very, very tasty. Great food and kind, welcoming staff. I highly recommend Fintry Inn and intend to return!
