A lovely lunchtime was spent in this warm hospitable restaurant. We were attracted by the menu and the fact that it is dog friendly. We both had starters and both thoroughly enjoyed them. The main course was sublime and I would recommend the lamb duo to anyone. Will definitely be back.

A lovely meal with very accommodating staff in a beautiful pub with a gorgeous open fire and cozy interior! We had 5 adults, 3 dogs and needed a larger space due to mobility issues and they happily made room for us with no fuss at all! We had the lovely Sophie and team look after us and it was absolutely top notch service and food. Can’t recommend this spot enough!

From the moment I stepped into this inviting pub/restaurant, the warm atmosphere made me feel right at home. Promptly seated with my preferred drink, I opted for the duo of lamb after the venison was unavailable. The rump lamb, cooked to perfection, was tender and bursting with flavor. Paired with a rich, house-made gravy and a side of Shepherd's pie featuring irresistible caramelized bits, every bite was a delight. In summary, my experience was superb – a cozy ambiance, decent service, and a lamb dish that exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

A really nice, dog friendly pub, they even have a little dog station where you can get some water and treats for your pooch. The food was really good and it was pretty busy on a weekday night when we were there which is often a good sign. The pub has a lovely rustic interior and the staff were very friendly as well
