We Called in last night after a day out, The Farriers is perfectly situated on the X15 bus route with the bus stop right at the door We ordered a pint of Madri and then we ordered fish and chips from “Off the hook” chippy van situated in the Car park to the rear of the pub The F&C were THAT good we ate them before taking a pic 😆 the best bit was we sat in the comfort of the bar to eat them, what’s not to love, “Off the Hook” are at the Farriers every Saturday night serving freshly cooked chippy goodies from 1730hrs to 1930 hrs The Pub is open every day from 5pm as it doubles as The Running Fox through the day The Farriers is one of the last true Northumbrian pubs , proper beer with real people
