Everyone’s welcome at our friendly pub in Weymouth, at the heart of the community and close to Weymouth Bay the Famous Old Spa has lots to offer. Traditional pub food is core to what we do, and if you’re just looking for somewhere to pop in for a pint we have a great selection of cask and guest ales, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Our carefully placed screens show all of the major sporting events, so you can catch up with your mates and watch your favourite game. Each week we also host a number of events so you won’t miss a thing. There’s something for everyone to enjoy at the Famous Old Spa in Weymouth.

Very enjoyable, well cooked, and ell presented food. Hobgoblin was a very good beer. It's a shame that this pub, with friendly and helpful staff, is tatty around the edges. A good paint of the interior would raise it up a couple of points.

We have visited many times and always find the food good and staff helpful. It was advertised that on Friday evenings the offer of a bottle of Prosecco for £14.99; we asked for one but they were sold out, at 7.00 pm on a Friday evening?!?!? We then asked for a bottle of wine which again was out of stock; the food was very nice; we thought we would end the evening with a coffee; however the coffee machine was out of order. So three things we had wanted were not available???!!!

Staff were lovely. Meal was ordered then condiments arrived, followed swiftly by the food,which was lovely,although the medium steak was slightly overcooked and plates could have been a touch hotter. Hot chocolate and coffees were also ordered and were lovely and the lady who did them was brilliant 😁One disappointment was that the waffle is no longer on the dessert menu. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the staff were great and we'll definitely return.

Booked a table for four, easily ordered what we all required at the bar including drinks from a great selective menu from which every body liked. Bar staff were all pleasant and accommodating which made the evening easy and relaxing. Thanks will be back soon!!

Lovely little local. The decor is a little run down but not to a bad extent. The menu is extensive and the food was actually great. Service was seedy attentive and very friendly. About the only disappointment was the fact that it advertised itself as a venue to watch sport and had lots of large screens around the place but despite speakers spread around the place the volume was virtually non existent to the point where the fruit machines drowned out any chance of hearing anything.
