Great little pub, a modest art-deco gem with original 30's floor, oak seating, doors and leaded windows - and on my visit 3 excellent independent ales from the area
Doesn't serve food. Dog friendly, child friendly. Serves real ale, Samuel Smiths lager, cider and stout. Spirits and wine. Cards, dominos & crib supplies behind bar to use. Darts board in bar. Beer garden with heated smoking shelter. Bar and a lounge. Ramp access round side of building.
Very basic back street boozer. Small selection of well kept real ales. Lovely friendly bar staff in the evenings.
A drinkers paradise, as old fashioned as it gets Its a gem but not sure how many more years we will have it Traditional beer pubs are dwindling
Used to love visiting here regularaly but in the last few months , we feel the pub has gone down a bit. The ales are still ace! A decent little local but it would be nice to see hot snacks available or maybe the odd cob behind the bar like they used to
