Went here on Sunday on very short notice and were surprised to see that there were seats available when we checked online. We have been to plenty of Toby carvery and knew what to expect, however on this occasion the food and service were excellent. As always my eyes were bigger than my belly so I ordered the large plate and the cuts of meat were more than joints of steak! The veg was fresh and tasty, with a really great selection including parsnips. The staff were lovely and we felt very welcome. The place was kept clean and tables cleared regularly.
We had the breakfast with Santa today. Lovely breakfast, only thing is need to make sure the stuff is replenished like the bread. Wasn’t a major issue as we asked and she refilled it. My daughter loved Santa and his elf. Very engaging. I don’t know what people expect. If you want the real life experience then you need to book Lapland not a £10 breakfast. The whole place is very welcoming. Will be back to try the carvery.
Fantastic meal - the staff catered for over 100 of us. Food was good, and restaurant looking good after refit. In particular thanks to Elvira, Masai, Slywia, Steven, Hannah and Lucy, Rossi, Dee & Jane.
Pleasant atmosphere on arrival .GHerise was dealing with our service. She was super amazing. Very pleasant and helpful. The cook was Sharon , food was very nice and tasty Chef was Marta and they were all super amazing team. I would be coming back again! GHerise however was my favourite! Thank you for being pleasant and thank you for the extra coffe!
Dee was so friendly and utterly fantastic, all of the servers were friendly. The food was delicious and exactly as I had hoped it would be. We had the carvery, and between us tried everything I think, no complaints about anything. Had a lovely Sunday lunch in the beautiful new setting. We will be back for sure!
