Wasn't sure what to expect last time we went in there we were glared at had a frosty reception, rude and felt extremely unwelcome to the point of feeling you were a nuisance l haven't a clue what there problem was. I'm glad to say that with new owners they are the complete opposite.we had a nice relaxing time there after a long walk . I hope they get the custom they need and make a go of it we are loosing to many of our country pubs. I understand they have function's there and live bands
Yay an open pub on a Sunday afternoon πΊπ. Lovely little spot out of the way. Nice staff and decent drinks too. Hope to visit again soon
This is a nice and friendly country pub. Good for walking to. Dog friendly. Although they've recently lost their kitchen but when we went they had a visiting pizza oven in a van. Delightful
Pub is small, but cosy and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the Sunday Lunch was very tasty. I had a Chicken Roast, with all the trimmings, plenty of gravy and crumble and custard to finish.....what more could you want. I would visit again.
Love this place. Its amazing having such a great welcoming pub only a 5 minute walk away. The staff are very friendly and the pub is always clean and tidy. The decor is lovely and food boards are awesome. Such a great change since the guys have taken over, thank you for creating such a welcoming friendly pub x
