I’d visited 3/4 times since Dec & having a great experience on so many levels, I highly recommended this venue to a local group of seniors. I spoke to the lovely Sammy in advance & she handled our booking request to accommodate a large group from a care home. She totally heard & understood their needs to ensure a safe & happy visit for them. I felt totally reassured that the visit would be a successful one. Her friendly & welcoming manner was a hit with the guests & they had a wonderful time. All the meals arrived quickly & served together, everyone was pleased with their choices. The Katsu curry was a particular favourite. Our visit was a memorable one for them & they want to visit again. So thank you Sammy & your colleagues for your hard work, it was much appreciated & we’ll be back.

Nice ambience now the pub has had a facelift. Music was good. We had breakfast so restaurant was mainly empty. Good service from friendly staff. Prices were very reasonable. Would go back again. Varied menu and good choice for my vegan wife to choose from. Good size car park.

Much nicer place to visit since the recent refurbishment. Although the menu is not as varied, the food is a vast improvement. It was also a pleasure to note that the TVs were not blaring out in the dining area, therefore making it an enjoyable place to eat. All the staff were friendly and attentive, my only hope is they keep up the present standards which makes this an affordable and pleasant venue.

Impromptu visit for a casual pint, which turned into a lunch snack. Made use of the 'seniors' lunch menu, and was pleasantly surprised. Not bad grub & good value. Thank you.

Nice large pub, easy to park. Went with a group of mates. All had good meals, very reasonably priced. Disappointed the grill wasn't working as most of us fancied steak or burgers. Not the first time I have visited and there has been no grill.
