Nice and friendly space. Good drink choices.
Nice local pub with a quiet, warm atmosphere with a pool table. Close to London Road shops and the level. Decent beer. Didn't try any food so haven't rated.

Popped into The Mitre on the off chance for a decent pint. Low and behold they had a few nice Harvey’s ales that were well kept. Probably not a surprise given it’s mostly a Harvey’s pub to be fair. The prices were spot on. In the window I spied Burger Off were being advertised. What a time to be alive given they haven’t been in their Hove incarnation for a while. Hope springs eternal one would hope.
The Lovely Taylor served a very busy pub on her own during the World Cup was so polite and helpful, even went out her way to travel upstair and make Tea and coffee! Highly recommend in the Brighton area.
