About us

It’s a blissfully traditional place to enjoy a pint in the City, with authentic wooden floors and furnishings, and wonderful old photos on the wall evoking simpler times.

The Fenchurch Street pub takes its title from the British East India Trading Company, whose old premises lie right next door. And just as they made their name on tea and coffee, we’ve made ours on brilliant beer.

Cracking cask ales and lagers come courtesy of Britain’s oldest brewer, Shepherd Neame, and there’s a good selection of wines, ciders, spirits and soft drinks here too.

So many of these London pubs are steeped in history and are closely associated with London's East India trade. 🇮🇳 This is a traditional London pub, small but with a great atmosphere built by city workers, most of whom will be returning home via London's Fenchurch Street Station. It is special to immerse yourself in the docor and appreciate the photos and posters on the wall that provide an intriguing insight into its past. I have invariably found the staff here welcoming and efficient, and as I sit here on a cold winter's day, I am grateful to experience such warmth, tradition, and history.

You want a pub with a bit of history, somewhere where great service, brilliant atmosphere and best of all 1st class drinks, look no further than the East India Arms, always my first port of call when I am in London, very much looking forward to my next trip.

Been in this lovely pub a few times - great location by Fenchurch Street station and wide range of drinks. Nice, friendly service and atmosphere. Highly recommend. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

The East India Arms is a traditional city pub from the oldest British brewery Shepherd Neame. And have no doubt, this is what us Brits call a pub, if you're looking for lunch, other than a bag of nuts or crisps the East India is NOT for you, they don't do food. Probably the most authentic boozer in the City.

Cozy and interesting place for a pleasant time with friends. The people who serve the customers are kind, smiling and responsive. I recommend!
