The Duke of Marlborough is a family and dog friendly pub with 13 hotel rooms on the outskirts of Woodstock; offering a balanced menu consisting of pub classics and gastro style food, well kept real ales, barista crafted, locally sourced UE coffee, and a well balanced wine offering over 30 wines, all available by the glass. A pub for all seasons The Duke has two roaring log fires for those cold winter evenings and a stunning, beautifully covered al-fresco dining space for warmer times. We even have a pétanque court & table tennis table! Open for food and drinks seven days a week. The Duke is a fantastic venue for large parties and is available for exclusive use. Birthdays, weddings & wakes all catered for! Please note we only do a long lunch service on a Sunday from 12-4pm and close the pub at 6pm.

Duke of Marlborough is a fantastic pub serving delicious food, I go here on a regular basis as I truly believe they do the best roast dinners. I live in Woodstock and make the journey to this pub once a week with my family for a lovely meal. They also pour Guinness like pros and the crème brûlée is fantastic.
I love staying at the Duke. Nice and the team always make me feel very welcome. They also catered very well for our team Christmas party. The team's patience was much appreciated as we sat and chatted long after last orders!
Chose this hotel as place to stay on way back from trip to north to Heathrow for return home. Were pleasantly surprised by the size and comfort of the rooms, and enjoyed the view of sheep grazing on the Blenheim estate when we awoke in the morning. Very friendly innkeepers and sumptuous breakfast.
Popped in for some lunch on the way back from blenheim and it was lovely. Nice atmosphere and even though we just had a starter each and some sides it was great food , the beef dripping chips were delicious. The people at the next table had some sandwiches which looked fantastic so will definitely be returning to try them next time .
Really impressed with the Duke of Marlborough, the staff were professional and very welcoming. The room was lovely and the food superb. My stay was on a half board basis so a choice of two courses from an excellent menu was included in the price of the room along with a lovely breakfast. I have no hesitation in recommending.
