The locals are friendly and really enjoy what truly is one of the last proper boozers still standing in Hampstead village, it really is a must see. The Duke was the local pub where the late Oliver Reed was seen every day.
Not one flaw. It was one of the best Sunday roasts I've had in London. Definitely worth the visit.
What delightful pub, popped in for a coffee and booked a table for two for evening. Food and service was excellent, thank you Kelly, you lookd after us well. Highly recommended.
Good food, even better beer and friendly service. I visited here a couple of times while on holiday in Hampstead and found it to be a great choice for food and drink.
Sam and I did a pub crawl in Hampstead and this was the third pub of the day. The last time I was in this pub was before covid and it was a regular pub now not so much. It calls itself a pub but looks more like a restaurant. There are no longer stools at the bar or small tables with chairs. It's definitely restaurant type seating. We decided to have a drink and then move on. I doubt I'll visit this pub, sorry restaurant, in the future.
Best fish and chips I've ever had; huge piece of perfectly cooked cod breaded oh so nicely with a delicious flaky crust, not the soggy batter one is used to. Served with tartar sauce and mushy peas (thank you!). The gnocchi was cooked nicely with a dash of herbs fresh chillies which hit the right spot. Ate out in the patio which sits on a quiet street. Hope to come back when the music is going!
