Not sure what happened, this went from a friendly bar (which I previously rated as 5 stars, 6 years ago), to a bit of a park street locals clique. It was made very clear by the landlord that we weren't welcome. In a world where wetherspoons are killing the pub trade, this felt like a rather odd move. We weren't a large group, or drunk, it felt like they didn't know us and didn't want our business.

Best located room ever with the best landlords, "purely nice people".. 2min wander to train station, uses Rin go parking app which you can buy the days needed. seafront 3mins wander, spotlessly clean room, ensuit toilet & shower, twin sash windows onto the street (which I perfer personally, catch the atmosphere of your surroundings).. brilliant karaoke nite Wednesday. Chinese taw 2 steps away. Summary just perfect. Thank you John & Chris..
Fantastic location and excellent value for money. Rooms are spotlessly clean and the walk-in shower was perfect. Would highly recommend this accommodation and will use again next time we visit. Owner and staff helpful and friendly. Thanks.
Great value for a comfy bed to rest after long days of hiking, bike rides and exploring the stunning location. Very close to the beach, so early/late swims in the sea are easy to do without having to worry about catching a cold. Private shower and toilet is always a big bonus - pressure for shower was very weak, but was manageable and I don't think there's a lot to be done there as it is quite normal in older buildings. There's also a terrace for everyone, for all your chilling needs. Owner is a polite and friendly man, that respects your privacy, perfect for a couple of Northern Europeans like us, who do find English hospitality to be overwhelming sometimes, especially in touristy areas like Weymouth. I am sure he would have been chattier if we engaged or needed it, but I appreciate it wasn't pushed on us, thank you. This was my second stay here in 4 years and I loved it as much as the first. If you don't plan spending most of your vacation in the hotel, I highly recommend this place!
