About us

We welcome you to the Druid's Arms. This beautiful historic country inn is positioned next to the Stanton Drew prehistoric Stone Circles in the wonderful Chew Valley south of Bristol.

The overall concept of our pub and restaurant is simple; we serve great food and an array of drinks in relaxed, welcoming surroundings. Our head chef, uses the freshest and best of ingredients and buys locally wherever possible.

We are open 7 days a week for lunch and Monday to Saturday for an evening meal. We offer pub classics at superb value for money. In the evening, why not get more adventurous and try some our Chefs more creative dishes. Alternatively, you may just want to enjoy a glass of wine, local cider or ale at the bar whilst enjoying the friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

We welcome everyone so, whether it’s a case of enjoying a drink in front of our large open fire in the winter, or popping along on a Sunday afternoon and soaking up the rays in our large beer garden - we’d love to see you!

Children are more than welcome. We have high-chairs and of course can cater for the little ones too.

The area is very popular with walkers and cyclists. Located just 30 minutes walk from the neighbouring village of Chew Magna and just 2 miles from the beautiful Chew Valley reservoir.

Great pub, cosy and friendly. The Sunday roast was up there with the best I've experienced. The portion size was emmense and beautifully cooked, and excellent value. Seems very popular, so book, it was very very busy. A pefect end to a really nice local walk. Can't wait to return!!

Very nice cosy pub with very nice food for the price the quality is very good very tasty food, we hand the belly pork which went down well with everyone the fish and chips was very and so was the steak, the starters were well presented and tasty, the only downfall the only thing that slightly mired a almost flawless meal was the fact that more than one dish was unavailable and lack of service,I think a little more attention paid to the restaurant wouldn't go a miss.

This is brilliant, a great pub, a menu that is varied and some great specials. The pub has a wonderful atmosphere, great service and brilliant food. We have visited many times over the last 6 months and always enjoy the food, welcome and atmosphere. A really special pub

Stunning food!! The Hong Kong chicken was one of the nicest starters I think I've ever had. We had burgers on burger night and they didn't disappoint - really yummy and perfectly salted crispy chips. Can't wait to go back and try some more dishes. One of our party was ill unfortunately so didn't come out and the kind kitchen staff cooked a burger for us to take with us which went down a treat. All the staff were very friendly. This pub is a gem!!!

Great little countryside pub. Our 1st visit. Eric at front of the house was very helpful and enthusiastic. Nice to see someone who enjoys their job. Food was fantastic. My wife had the squid rings, which she found tender and flavourful. Mains were sticky bacon steak with egg fried rice and rib eye steak. This was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended. I would also suggest booking in advance as it does get busy.
