I’m absolutely gobsmacked I don’t know what to say, I ordered £30 worth of food from The Downsman only for me not to receive my food at all! The driver from just eat was on the road behind my house, for five minutes I’m thinking he’s gona figure himself out and find my house only to see a few minutes later my food’s been delivered. I called the restaurant explaining I haven’t received my food and the attitude was absolutely appalling, and they showed no compassion to the fact I ordered dinner for the family this evening. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I booked an event today (wake) and received excellent service throughout. We had the whole of the back room to ourselves, and for as long as we wanted, no time limit. The food was excellent withva wide variety of hot and cold food, a truly wonderful spread that exceeded expectations. Caz and her team were fantastic throughout and if I ever need to stage another event again, I will definitely come here again.

Butter paneer...one of the best meals I've had in 3 months in England! Great menu...western and Indian, huge TV with plenty of seating to watch sport, quick service, really nice atmosphere. Excellent all around

Ordered vegetarian curry and meat arrived ! Phone Downsman to get told you ordered via Deliveroo phone them. Customer service disappointing ! We order at least once a month from Downsman, after that customer service we won’t be using them anymore !!!

Restaurant quality food with exceptional garlic king prawns, tandoori platter, mushroom bhaji and tarka dahl. Generous portions so go with an appetite or a doggy bag!
