Proper English Pub , when i visit any coastal resort , i go 2 streets inland from the beach , too find a Pub , i have never failed to find a bad one yet . The Landlord was top class , with conversation , and kept good Ale at a cheap price for down South . Well done Landlord & Landlady also Staff & Regulars . Im Down again on May 2024 .
Great value local attended by all ages! Tied to Hopback (excellent ales), clean and bright, big games room at back.

Great little back street pub for a quiet pint. Well, as long as you like background rock music. Friendly barman and chatty locals. Delicious Entire stout dark beer. Fantabulous.
My wife and I spent 4 nights here, even though it should have been 5 😂 we messed up the arrival day! Both Linda and Alan were great and couldn't do enough for us with parking permits and advice on where to go 👍 the room itself was good, nice and clean and although a little warm, having full Sky TV with sports and movies was great! Spotlessly clean and a comfy bed. A little noise from the surroundings and very patchy WiFi in our room (number 4) but other than that no complaints. We would, without hesitation, stay there again. The location wins hands down as the star feature, you're slap bang in the middle of everything 👍
