If you want a traditional pub in the area, it's this one. Great real ales, good food, and probably the most polite barman I've ever met.
Cosy pub with parking at the back (bit tight). Wednesday evening. Two ales (pedigree and wainwrights). Had fish chips and mushy peas. Very good. Cooked to order. Real chips 😋. Ale good 🍻, not too cold. Food seem to stop about 830pm. Friendly landlords. Will definitely be back when in the area. Highly recommended
Great food at fantastic prices, especially during 'Beat the Clock' offer Monday to Thursday between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm, the time you order is the price you pay. Good selection of beers. A proper local pub well worth a visit.
