Great food, Great staff. We went for a birthday meal our adult daughter is celiac. Staff gave options of what she could and couldn't have and were excellent with recommendations. She had a chicken and bacon salad really enjoyed it. She could have had about 4 or 5 other dishes.
Went in to meet up with family. There was a 50th do on at the same time. Place was rammed. Good atmosphere, no sign of any trouble. Staff quick to serve on what must have been a busy night for them and always polite.
Crisp ale pie, big size dish with a handmade dessert, a nice experience.
We call in often as it's our local and never have any complaints. We always enjoy the food, the breakfasts are on point and very delicious. we had a Sunday dinner today, and it was nice. I'd recommend. 100%
Paulicarus making his first ever visit to New Mills. Opposite the quick turnaround bus station and close to New Mills Central train station. Only one real ale on today; a good pint of Ossett Butterly. Taylor's Boltmaker was off. Interesting place for food; especially cakes. Also advertising a Spanish Med Night menu. Had Green Lipped Mussels in Madrid once...Paulicarus says once was enough. Nice back beer garden soaking up the July rain. Pleasant interior.
