I haven't seen the rooms, so I can't comment on them. Otherwise a brilliant Wetherspoons. Great value and service. Roaring log fire in a great old building packed with character. Wish it was nearer...
Great place for a drink. Although we only ordered coffee after a nice meal down the road. It ticked all the boxes. However, the clientele wasn't as good. There is no fault of the pub, but it's hard to relax with ASBO people in there.
Only went here for lunch (not to stay) so can only comment on the restaurant, which was a very good experience. Good food, excellent service and value for money. We can recommend it.
22nd December at lunchtime and the place is mobbed... What can I say, the staff are rushed off their feet running round like loons. All of them polite and full of smiles, service is amazing, food was amazing. Tim I hope you read this, these guys need an Xmas bonus.
It was 9 pm on a busy Saturday night when we came here for food, but despite this, the service was still quick and the food up to the normal good quality. There's the normal menu with something for everyone. Loads if seated inside and some outside.
