This is the 2nd time we have eaten here. I have food allergies and the staff are great with them. Really enjoyed my Sunday roast

1st visit to the restaurant and it was very very good. Food cooked to perfection and served with a smile. Could not have been better........
Had a lovely meal with fantastic views. My husband and I both had the Prawn Cocktail starter, followed by the Fillet Steak. The fillet steak was lovely and tender and cooked to perfection. The only criticism we had was the Peppercorn sauce was rather bland and didn't taste of pepper at all. You might need to refill your pepper pot 🤣😂. Whole peppercorns in the sauce would have given it a lot more flavour. The Staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall I would give it 4.5 stars. We would definitely recommend it and be returning ourselves. The pub is dog friendly as well 🐶
Booked this as we had family visiting and fancied something different. The last time I was here 10 or more years ago it was a bit fushty and mostly disappointed. I read that it was new owners so decided to give it a shot. Excellent food, value and service. The dedicated gluten free menu was greatly appreciated by the coeliac in the party who felt catered for rather than a begrudging afterthought. Definitely on out regular list now.
